But I know a great artist!

My wife, Kim, has a dream of illustrating and writing a children’s book. Yesterday, when I got home from work, she said, “Why don’t you twitter something about my artwork and see if anything comes of it?” Instead of just twittering about it, I wanted to write a quick post. You see, I really want to be her Dream Manager (you can read that post here).

Not only is Kim a great artist, she is an amazing, godly person. She taught Kindergarten for 11 years (which definitely means she has a heart of gold) and has a passion for reaching kids with the message of Christ.

If you know anyone that you could connect her with in the book industry, leave a comment on this post. If she gets an opportunity through your connections, we’ll give 10% of the contract to the non-profit of your choice (and another 10% to the ministry of Faith Promise Church). She’s not looking to get rich – she’s looking to fulfill a lifelong dream.

You can find her artwork here.

Kim’s art is wonderful! I have a name or two of people with experience in this area, although I don’t know them well personally. But I’m happy to try to connect her with them. It’s not an easy industry to break into, but if God has given her the talent and a calling in this area, he will make a way! Ask Kim to send me an email. Best wishes!

That is so cool–my wife and I just had a discussion last week about a similar topic. One of my dreams/goals is to write a children’s book. She encouraged me to sit down and do it! Now I just need an artist… :)
