This rings true in the world economy too. If we do not have enough people producing, inventing, etc and we consume more than we produce it will greatly affect our economy. We needed people like Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Benjamin Franklin, John Deere, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, George Eastman, The Wright Brothers to get us where we are today. Our youth appear to be conditioned to go to college, get a degree and then go work for someone else, never considering they may be the next Henry Ford.
