Just remember when they bring home that first bad grade ,and it will happen. tell them that&quot; if you always get 100&#039;s then you are not learning anything. You have to&quot;not&quot; know it before you can learn it&quot;. I went through this just tues. Caitlyn brought home a 69 on a page of geography work.She way very distraught,she couldn&#039;t stop crying . Then i explained that you go to school to learn not to show that you know everything already. it worked .i helped her figure out what she did wrong. (she didn&#039;t understand exactly what the questions were asking for) all was well. Not that getting bad grades is good, but some times you can teach them a valuable lesson that will help them in the &quot;art&quot; of failure. People have taught there children that &quot;you are perfect&quot; then they cant handle adverse things in life,they need to know that bad things will happen and how to deal with them when they do.If you fall off the horse get back on.
