People often ask, “What is the most significant thing happening at Faith Promise Church?” I can quickly respond because I really think it is cool. FPC is made up of a very socio-economically diverse group of people. Here’s what that means: we have dirt poor people and very wealthy people and everything in between – all worshipping together. Within that diverse group of people, we also have people at many different places in their spiritual walk. Here’s who I see at FPC:
- Those searching for a relationship with Him.
- Those growing in their relationship with Him.
- Those mature in their relationship with Him.
I love our weekend messages because our Pastor recognizes that these three groups of people are there and he attempts to engage each of them in every message. His goal is to give something significant to those who are searching, those who are growing and those who are mature. Isn’t that the way it should be?
Take time to evaluate who you are communicating to in your weekend messages. And, attempt to give something to each of them. By the way, I believe that your church should have all three if you are accomplishing what God wants!
