It’s amazing to see the global work that is happening through the ministry at FPC. In the first quarter of 2009, people have traveled to New Zealand and Costa Rica to spread the love of Christ and train Christian leaders. In the next few months, several other mission trips will occur. Here’s what’s up and how you can pray:

• Cape Town, South Africa (June) – Pray for Mia Hannahs & team as they work with Living Hope Ministries and the Mountain View Community. Last fall we began a work in this community and Mia and team will continue to impact the children in this area for Christ. Pray that they kids and their families will be open to the message of Christ.
• Camp Collide (June) – Pray for Pastor Randy, Pastor Matt and 200+ students as they lead our middle and high school students to Galveston, TX for a mission experience in the community.
• Thailand (July) – Pray for Jeff & Desiree Lowe & team as they impact tourists for Christ in Thailand. Pray against the government unrest that will keep tourists out of the country and for God’s word to be accessible to everyone they have contact with.
• England (July) – Pray for Randy Riggins & team as they teach students in local schools and lead worship in the city. Pray that there will be spiritual awakening in the areas in which they will work.
• Costa Rica (July) – I will be traveling to train pastors with Terry Dupont and Open Eyes Ministries. This is going to be an awesome trip – pray for the translation that has to occur (I don’t often speak that way!).

God is at work around the world through FPC. Always remember to pray for the 15 trips that will happen this year.
