Today is my awesome wife’s birthday ~ and it’s a significant one (although I have been sworn to secrecy as to the number). Kim is often behind the scenes at FPC, working in the KidK’nex Galaxy environment each weekend teaching our kids. Here are some cool things about Kim:

• She has a passion for ministry & grew up serving Christ. She moved every year from 6th grade through 12th grade across the south and southeast (her dad was a Christian school administrator & pastor).
• She has forgotten more about the Bible than I will ever know. Her mom taught them stories from the Bible and missionaries every day of the summer – bottom line: she knows the Book.
• She taught Kindergarten for 11 years at Temple Christian School. She has a passion for early childhood education and is probably the greatest Kindergarten teach that I have ever met.
• She has led hundreds of people to Christ. She has impacted hundreds of kids and adults and seen them connect with Christ. In December, I had a chance to be a part of her legacy and do a wedding for one of her former students – cool!
• She is an artist (and very talented). She has illustrated a couple of children’s books which I believe will be published one day!

• She is an incredible mom. Hayden & Madison are two of the coolest kids because of her influence.
