Last week Kim received her Kindle 2 in the mail. As I have mentioned before, I love the Kindle (see the post here), but I am still the owner of a first generation Kindle which is much thicker and way less cool than the 2nd generation model. However, I did recently get a Tassimo Hot Beverage System from my parents (it was a birthday gift).

Here’s what I love about it:

1. You can get rid of your coffee pot, espresso machine and coffee bean grinder (unless you host a lot of large groups). It can make cappuccino, lattes or just plain coffee with it’s “T” discs – all in one machine!
2. It makes single cups of coffee with now grounds to dispose of.
3. You can drink multiple brands and flavors of drinks without having to make a full pot or even half a pot.
4. It froths milk in seconds, unlike my home espresso machine.

Here’s what I dislike about it:

1. The “T” discs are a little pricey, but there is less waste.
2. The water reservoir could be a little larger (although I think they made it like they did to keep the water fresh).

Okay, let’s be honest – I just posted this because I am jealous about the Kindle 2 and am trying to make myself feel better!
