This past weekend Pastor shared an amazing thought during the weekend services: if you’ve experienced God’s grace, you should desire to serve Him more, not less. For some reason in the 21st century, we have come to believe that grace is easy. You just receive it and do with it as you please. However, true grace belongs to God because of Christ’s sacrifice. We receive grace because it has been given to us not because we deserved it.
So, as a Christ-follower, grace holds us to a higher standard. We should give more, serve more and grow more because of our gratitude and indebtedness to Him. Is that how you live?
First off, love the new blog design. Second, great post. I though that was a great thought that Pastor put out there this weekend. I believe we are so quick to make excuses for our sin by throwing out Grace. Lets just own up, take responsibility and strive to live for God more than the law required.
