Aaron and I just landed in Memphis after our flight from Phoenix. I love to fly and was thinking about how all pilot’s have a cool voice. Have you ever noticed that? It’s like they install some fancy technology in the microphone that makes their voice sound awesome.
It made me think about God’s voice. I’ve never heard it audibly, but when God speaks to my heart, it sounds like the pilot’s voice. Have you ever noticed that when the pilot speaks, everyone feels better about the turbulence or the plane maintenance that is needed? That’s how I feel about God’s voice. Even though I can’t hear it, when He speaks I know it, and it makes the turbulence better. Isn’t God’s voice awesome (even if we haven’t “heard” it)?
So true, He knows how to speak in such a manner that we feel comforted and refreshed..
