The services at FPC this weekend were led by Randy Riggins, our Pastor of Student Ministries/High School Pastor. It was a great message out of Proverbs 3:5-6 (a familiar passage that he gave fresh insight) in the U2.0 series. Here were some thoughts:
- Accept his outlook – not your outlook. TRUST Him.
- Your perspective is limited but God sees it all.
- God sometimes wants us to slow down or speed up.
- You’re about to step in a poop landmine. See this post.
- Follow His outline – in all your ways acknowledge Him.
- We work on ineffective operating systems.
- Our operating system is a lot of boxes – boxes for work, free-time, friends, money, family, school, ministry, friends & Jesus.
- Jesus doesn’t want a box – He wants all of you!
- Change happens mostly in our minds daily – Rom. 12:1-2
- God says, “Trust my operating system.”
- Salvation gives us God’s operating system.
Randy did a great job filling in for PC, people were baptized and the service was rockin’. We are blessed to have such an awesome staff at FPC.
It‘s quiet in here! Why not leave a response?
