Yesterday was an awesome birthday – I hit the big 34. We took a trip to the Biltmore with friends and had a great day. The kids believe that the house belongs to them and Madison can be seen in the picture below running around(she enjoyed going under the ropes in every room).

Reading this I started thinking back to birthdays as a kid! It was all about the gifts! Now it seems like it is about just being with family and friends! Who needs stuff anyway?!?
