Over the past two days, we have been planning for what God wants to do in 2009 – in 2008. Some of the things that we have realized:
1. The current financial crisis could make ministry in 2009 interesting.
2. We will need to start 2 new services to keep up with the growth at FPC.
3. A new campus is a must in the future of FPC.
4. Student ministry is going to take over our campus on Wednesday nights – a great problem!
5. Small Groups will maintain 50% of our student/adult weekend attendance – a WOW at a mega-church.
6. Budgeting will be a challenge – we will always need more money than we have.
Ultimately, we have the greatest staff team. It is a joy to serve and plan together. We have have a blast the past 2 days. Tomorrow we will plan the first 6 months of 2009 preaching calendar – can’t wait!
