View from the Team House
We have had a great day. The food is awesome at the Team House. We toured Living Hope Ministries locations this morning. What an amazing ministry in Cape town. Any support you can give to LHM would be put to great use.
After lunch, we traveled to Mountain View – an area that where people were relocated by the former government. We had about 75 kids in our club and it was amazing. We played soccer and then had a craft time and Bible story. Timothy and Julianna, the leaders, did an awesome job. Wow! We had an absolute blast but our hearts hurt within us. Many of the children did not have shoes and they were all in worn, tattered clothes. These communities are in desperate shape. The purpose of the location is to challenge Faith Promise to adopt them. The people in Mountain View have had little to no outside help other than Living Hope. I will personally get involved in this – wow, it is overwhelming.
We had a great dinner and prepped for tomorrow. Gordon, our guide is awesome! Now, it’s off to bed since we are 6 hours ahead of US Eastern time. Great ministry opportunities are ahead tomorrow.
